Don Imus

Don Imus is being raked over the coals for referring to the Rutgers Womens Basketball Team as "nappy-headed hos." Perhaps he should have used his favorite insult instead. If he had simply called them war criminals (like he frequently does people in the Bush Administration), he could have avoided having to grovel before the likes of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

I don't care much for Imus' characterizations of other people (he isn't really funny), but in the current flap with the rather rough-looking basketball players, a heart-felt apology should have been enough to put the controversy to rest. Instead he has opted to prostrate himself before the self-serving, race-baiting hypocrites (Al and Jesse, in case you missed it) who have self-annointed themselves as the leaders of all African-Americans......whether they like it or not.

Disgusting.
