Speech I Hate

I know the English language is a "living" language, which I suppose means that it's okay to trash our language with every "fad speech" that comes along.

Here are three recent modifications to our way of communicating verbally that I want everyone to stop using at once:

1. Using the word 'so' in front of the word 'not.' Example: He is so not cool. [AARRGGHH!]

2. Replacing 'but' and 'however' with phrases like 'that being said' or 'having said that.' [double AARRGGHH!]

3. Using the totally superfluous phrase 'at the end of the day' to remind the listener that whatever words come next will represent the end result of the words that preceded said superfluous phrase.

Is that too much to ask?
